The Case Aide supports case management services for unaccompanied youth by maintaining organized, compliant documentation and assisting with family reunification efforts. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team in a trauma‑informed environment to promote safety, stability, and timely case progression.

What You’ll Do:
  • Maintain accurate, timely client case files
  • Support discharge preparation and youth release logistics
  • Assist with communication between youth, families, sponsors, and partners
  • Provide safe local transportation (occasional out‑of‑area travel)
  • Contribute to team meetings and program coverage, including some evenings/weekends
  • Uphold trauma‑informed practices, confidentiality standards, and all agency, state, federal, and Office of Refugee Resettlement regulations.
What You Bring
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and time‑management skills
  • Reliability, empathy, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, continuously evolving setting
  • Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively
  • Highly proficient bilingual language skills (English/Spanish)
  • Experienced technology (translation and calling apps, Microsoft Office programs and applications) and database use
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • One year social services or office experience
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Preferred
  • Experience in child welfare, case management, or refugee/migrant services

This is a full-time position, located in Owensboro KY. Days and hours of work are flexible to support the needs of the program. The Case Aide is expected to support the ORR required 7-Day Case Management schedule, with hours of work to include late days and weekend coverage. The Case Aide schedule may be adjusted to provide support to youth intake, discharge and release related travel. Flexible work hours to include occasional evenings, weekends, and on-site and off-site attendance at meetings.
