Salary Range:

$47,000 - $50,000 for the minimum qualifications of a Bachelor's degree in a related field OR four years of food service supervision experience
$54,180 for five to eight years of experience
Final salary will be determined upon verification of years of experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Manager to oversee and ensure high-quality food services for our clients and staff. This leadership role is responsible for supervising food service personnel, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting a trauma-informed environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise food service staff, ensuring teamwork and professional development.
Oversee meal planning, preparation, and special event menus in consultation with dietitian and campus nurse.
Manage purchasing, inventory, and adherence to budget guidelines.
Ensure compliance with health department, OSHA, licensing, and safety regulations.
Provide training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining hall, and storage areas.
Support agency mission and uphold confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4+ years of food service supervision experience.
Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to research and prepare authentic international dishes, adapting recipes while maintaining cultural integrity.

Work Schedule

Full-time, primarily Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed for events. Eligible for flex schedule.
