Salary Range:   

  • $47,000 - $50,000 for the minimum qualifications of a Bachelor's degree in a related field OR four years of food service supervision experience
  • $54,180 for five to eight years of experience
  • Final salary will be determined upon verification of years of experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Manager to oversee and ensure high-quality food services for our clients and staff. This leadership role is responsible for supervising food service personnel, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting a trauma-informed environment for residents.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise food service staff, ensuring teamwork and professional development.
  • Oversee meal planning, preparation, and special event menus in consultation with dietitian and campus nurse.
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with health department, OSHA, licensing, and safety regulations.
  • Provide training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining hall, and storage areas.
  • Support agency mission and uphold confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4+ years of food service supervision experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to research and prepare authentic international dishes, adapting recipes while maintaining cultural integrity.

Work Schedule

Full-time, primarily Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed for events. Eligible for flex schedule.
