CLINICAL DIRECTOR  - RESIDENTIAL

Summary of Function

The Clinical Director serves as the administrator in charge of the residential treatment program.  The Clinical Director assures the effective delivery of treatment services and uniform adherence to the treatment program, campus policies and regulatory standards.
    
Job Specifications
  1. Is trained in Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Emergency Safety Physical Interventions (ESPI).  Remains current on ESPI review.  Is willing to use ESPI when necessary in keeping with our policy.
  2. Is trained in CPR and First Aid.  Remains current.
  3. Must be at least 21 years old and have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field with a valid licensure status including Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  4. Must maintain LCSW/LMFT/LPCC by the State of Kentucky.
  5. Must have a minimum of two years post graduate experience in supervising treatment of children with emotional/behavioral problems.  Demonstrated strength in management/supervision of staff.
  6. Must have a valid state of residence driver’s license and submit to an intensive background investigation.
  7. Maintains appropriate amount and quality of training per policy.
