Community Services Counseling Services is a branch of the Kentucky United Methodist Children's Homes. The organization is a Christ-centered ministry of hope for the healing and wholeness for children and families by providing for the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of children and families.
Community Services Counseling Services provides out-patient and school-based therapy along with Targeted Case Management. The main office is located in Nicholasville, KY.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION |
Community Services Clinician
Applicant’s primary responsibility is to provide therapeutic, clinical behavioral health services to youth and their families. Applicants must be willing to participate in a multidisciplinary team approach with community partners, and be willing to travel within the identified service areas.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES |
- Applicants are expected to provide services including, but not limited to: crisis intervention/risk assessment; treatment planning; education; intensive out-patient services; individual, family, group and collateral therapy and referral.
- Applicants are to provide supervision and care under the directives of an individualized comprehensive treatment plan in compliance with all applicable directives.
- Applicants are responsible for maintaining current knowledge of discipline-specific requirements of corresponding licensing board
- Applicants are expected to ensure appropriate and timely renewal of licensure and certification.
- Applicants must maintain eligibility for independent licensure, as applicable.
MINOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
Applicants need to acknowledge that caseloads may include diverse populations with a variety of clinical needs.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR JOB |
Education:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work
Must possess a current Professional License as required by Kentucky professional boards (LPCC, LCADC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in related field of licensure
